Bikefill Community Bike Park
The City of Bozeman Parks and Recreation Department, Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT), and Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association (SWMMBA) are seeking feedback during the development of the Bikefill Community Bike Park Master Plan.
Bikefill Community Bike Park is a project that aims to not only fill needed gaps in the cycling infrastructure of the Gallatin Valley, but also provide the community with an easy accessible, world-class bike park experience for users of all ages and abilities through various trail types and styles.

The draft Master Plan aims to address the design and management goals of the facility built based on the public input received in order to provide the wide variety of bicycle specific trails and features that will fill a much-needed void in Bozeman recreation infrastructure, all while honoring, preserving, and enhancing the natural environment of the Bikefill site.
The Urban Parks and Forestry Board will review the plan and make their recommendation to the City Commission for approval, or approval with edits, at their meeting on March 26 at 6:00pm at City Hall. The draft Parks Master plan is available, along with associated conceptual trail map, schematic design and renderings of the parking lot and primary civil elements of the park. Public input on the draft plan can be submitted by email at comments@bozeman.net (please submit by noon on March 26) or in person during the public comment period of the meeting. City Commission will make their final decision at their meeting on April 7 at 6:00pm at City Hall.

This fall, a highly skilled, locally based design and construction team was selected to bring the Bikefill vision to life. The team is a collaboration of two leading Montana trail design and construction firms:
- Integrated Trail Lab: A locally owned and Bozeman-based firm known for projects including the Westlake Dirt Jumps, pump tracks at Gallatin Regional Park and Copper City, and the Big Sky Community Park asphalt pump track.
- Terraflow: A Whitefish-based firm known for the recently completed Gnomadic Trail at Crosscut/Bridger, NeverSweat at Copper City, Mountain to Meadow in Big Sky, and the acclaimed Legacy Bike Park in Lakeside, Montana.
