City Commission Meeting

The City Commission will hear the results of the pre-design report and provide a recommendation to staff and the design team for moving into the design phase of the project. 

The meeting will occur at 6pm at City Hall - 121 N. Rouse. You may also attend virtually via webex, or stream the meeting on the city's website or cable channel 190.

Fowler Ave Open House

Two Open Houses will be hosted in June to provide additional opportunities for all to engage! We'll bring the snacks and fun ways for you to provide your input so bring the family, ideas, or just curiosity and stop by to learn more! 

When: June 29th from 4-6pm

Where: Fire Station 3 @ 1705 Vaquero Pkwy 

What: Please join us for...

  • Summaries of what we've heard from community members so far during the engagement process. 
  • Information on the design alternatives and decision making criteria that will influence final design
  • High level conceptual designs of what the corridor might look like and traffic modeling for each
  • Activities for all ages and abilities to share their perspective on how the future Fowler Avenue should look and function
  • Opportunities to ask questions and explore answers with the project team

The design team will be presenting the project overview to the Bozeman City Commission virtually on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022. The overview will include:

  • Introduction of the project team
  • Project scope
  • Timeline
  • A summary of the community engagement plan
  • Existing area overview.

Fowler Avenue Connection Community Event

Fowler Avenue Connection Community Event to engage with the project team!

When: May 8, 2024 from 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Where: Bozeman Public Safety Center; Chuck Winn Community Room

901 N. Rouse Avenue Bozeman, MT

What: Project team members will be in attendance to provide project status updates and answer questions. The community is invited to stop by anytime between 6-7:30 p.m. A formal presentation will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. The presentation is expected to last 20 minutes, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Fowler Avenue Walking Tour

Interested community members are invited to learn more about the 30% design for the future Fowler Avenue Corridor through a guided walking tour starting at Oak St. and heading towards Durston Avenue.


Date: Wednesday, June 12th

Time: 6:00 PM

Meeting Spot: Dinosaur Park, 1707 Vaquero Pkwy

Tour Location: Oak St. and Fowler Avenue

We will walk for about 90 minutes to review the 30% design plans, including the proposed 2-lane configuration, intersection designs, multimodal facilities, and landscaping.

What to Bring:

  • Good walking shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing

Safety guidelines will be provided. We look forward to your participation!
