Design 1: "Bear with Me" I am a Bozeman native and enrolled member of the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana. My primary artistic mediums are acrylic pouring and poetry. I am an early childhood educator by day. I truly believe that the best way we can change the world is by changing how the children of our community perceive and cope with their own emotions and the emotions of others during the formative years of life. I think creating/experiencing art is among the most powerful forms of medicine we have for healing our mind and soul.
Design 2: I am a 15-year-old artist, born and raised here in Bozeman. Art has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Currently I am doing an internship at the Emerson Cultural Center, working in their summer camps. As an artist, I am very interested in graphic design as well as canvas painting. Acrylic painting and digital art are my go-to mediums. For my vision, I wanted to make something more than just a pride flag. In my design I have incorporated the pride flag into a stylized drawing of local mountain ranges. I really want to be able to implement change and inclusivity in the world. I truly feel that this will help people within the community feel seen.
Design 3: "All The Fish" I am a local Montana freelance artist with a love for many different mediums. I have always enjoyed creating larger works of art, and murals are the ultimate test of an artists ability to do so. Collaboration is a huge part of creating such magnificent pieces and having the opportunity to teach and uplift other artists is such a blessing. I love to encourage everyone's personal self expression through artwork. "All The Fish" is a representation of the many different people who all exist within the same stream of consciousness. Even though we are all unique, we are created by a single flowing source.
Design 4: I’m a mural artist based in Missoula, Montana. I created modern, colorful murals that inspire, empower and connect. I make art for people who choose to see the beauty in life, even when it’s dark. I make art for people like me - fabulously weird, unapologetically themselves, the messed up and broken, the people with a past. You know, real people. I want to tell your story with my brush. I want you to come out in every possible way. And, when you do, I want you to love that person you find. I’m an artist because I believe that art can heal. I’m a muralist because I believe we can heal together, in public, out in the open.
