Project Update: Phase 1 Report Release

We want to keep you informed about a slight shift in our project timeline. While we initially aimed to release the Phase 1 report this month, we are taking a bit more time to finalize it to ensure a comprehensive and well-prepared document.

This report will include recommendations for code changes and the creation of a local landmark program. It will go through review by the Historic Preservation Advisory Board and the Community Development Board before being considered for adoption by the City Commission. Once adopted, we’ll move into Phase 2—implementing the approved recommendations.

The delay won’t be too long, but we wanted to keep you in the loop since the Historic Preservation Advisory Board was originally set to begin its review this month. Thank you for your patience, and stay tuned for further updates!
