Bike Your Park Day

Celebrate Bike Your Park Day and join us on September 27 from 10-noon at West Winds Park, where we will have activities for all ages as we celebrate new bike routes designed to link together Bozeman’s beautiful west side parks.

In addition to the east-west Raptor Route, the City is now designing a north-south pathway that will run more than 3.5 miles linking Bozeman Pond Park to Cattail Lake. With the trail improvements, the parks along the new route will see natural resource enhancement, water conservation principles, and added recreation. Come see the plan, give feedback, and enjoy a lively day of learning and fun with our partner organizations!

Bike Your Park Day

The first public engagement event for the Cattail Creek Corridor and Anchor Route Park Master Plan will be the City's second Bike Your Park Day celebration on Saturday, September 28th from 10-noon. Community members are encouraged to get outside and enjoy a chain of parks within the study area and to give input on the initial master plan concepts.

From 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. there will be activities for all ages in the parks between Cattail Street and Catamount including Matthew Madison and Sandan Parks. All are welcome to join us for bike decorating, artwork commissioned by Mountain Time Arts, a youth basketball skills clinic and more! Bozeman Parks and Recreation, Gallatin Watershed Council, Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Montana Rebels Basketball, and Bozeman Bike Kitchen will all be present along with several other community organizations.
