Ordinance provisionally adopted by City Commission

After an extensive public hearing and careful deliberation, the City Commission provisionally adopted updated wetland and watercourse regulations, with one amendment to wetland minimum buffer distances, from 10 feet to 25 feet. Final adoption is scheduled for consideration at the City Commission meeting on September 23 at 6 p.m. The revised draft incorporating the amendment is available in the Documents section. If final adoption occurs as scheduled, the effective date of the new regulations is set for October 25, 2025.
