City Commission Work Session and Preliminary Design Update

Join us at City Commission on Tuesday, January 13, for a continuation of the College Street Renovation Work Session that begun in October 2025.

At that time, City Commission directed staff to revisit the potential for inclusion of parking along the south curb of College St. before approving the scope of final design. Thanks to our partners at Montana State University, an easement is expected to be provided into MSU property along the south curb that will allow the street to retain parking while extending the shared used path from the west.

Staff will present these updates to Commission and seek approval of the final design scope of work.

Preliminary Design plans have been updated with this change in mind along with a preliminary landscape plan.
