City Commission Approved Plan
On Oct 28th, the City Commission voted to approve a resolution adopting the proposed plan text and future land use map. Approval was unanimous.
City Commission Public Hearing
The City Commission is the approval authority for a land use plan. They must conduct a public hearing prior to deciding to approve or not approve the draft document. Notice of the public hearing has been published on this website and the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.
The City Commission may decide to adopt the plan at this hearing.
Community Development Board Public Hearing
The Community Development Board is the advisory board required by law to make a recommendation to the City Commission on the draft document. Notice of the hearing will be published on this website and the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.
City Commission considers public engagement plan
One required element of the new law is that the City Commission approve a public engagement plan prior to beginning the process to update the plan.
