Consultation has concluded
The City of Bozeman, county and state government, and non-profit organizations are working together to protect important wildlife habitat, landscapes, and natural systems throughout the Gallatin Valley. The Sensitive Lands Protection Plan will include recommendations and actions to help coordinate these efforts as we grow.
Residents of the Gallatin Valley care about the long-term ecological health of our valley. Clean water, abundant wildlife, productive agriculture, and cultural heritage has provided a high quality of life for generations. A regional approach to protecting the lands that support our quality of life can ensure healthy habitats for us all.
This project is all about data, especially geospatial data on wildlife habitat, waterways, and other natural features. Head over to the ArcGIS Hub at gallatinvalleyplan.bozeman.net to find maps, access data, and learn more!
