May is National Historic Preservation Month and the Historic Preservation Advisory Board invites you to partake in its month long celebration!

This year’s theme is The Roots of Our History a celebration of Bozeman's roots and how we have grown. Throughout the month of May, the Historic Preservation Advisory Board and partners will host events dedicated to Bozeman's history and the historic preservation program. See key dates on the right to learn more and sign up for them. More details will be added as they get solidified.

Nominations for the 2023 Historic Preservation and Legacy Awards are open! See below to submit your nomination which are open until Wednesday, May 3. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 31 at the Bozeman Event Space at 14 S. Tracy Avenue. You can view past preservation award winners below as well.

We are also looking to our community to help tell stories of Bozeman's history and a more diverse narrative. See "Tell us your story" section below to participate!
